Think about how people will interact with the cutout. A tabletop character has different requirements from a life-size photo display. Measure the available floor or table space, confirm the maximum height and consider whether the design must pass through doors or fit into a vehicle.
Artwork quality makes the difference
The best source is a clean, high-resolution illustration with a defined outline. Tiny screenshots often cannot be enlarged without losing detail. Make sure any character or logo artwork you supply is suitable for the intended use and that you have the necessary permission to reproduce it.
Pick a practical backing and support
Indoor event displays may use rigid printable board with a suitable stand. Freestanding large characters need stable supports, especially in busy areas. Tell the print studio whether the cutout will be displayed indoors or outdoors and for how long.
Allow room around fine details
Very thin extensions, intricate hair shapes or narrow connections can be fragile. Slightly simplifying the contour or adding a small border can improve the finished cut without losing the character’s personality.
